Description:

The purpose is to help students realize what are healthier options when eating and which options will contribute to a higher or lower body weight. The board is an interactive bulletin board. The board has directions on how to play the game. The directions explain to students that they are suppose to take the food items from the board and put them on the correct scale. One scale represents a good body weight and one represents a bad body weight. They are to move healthy options to the good body weight scale and unhealthy options to the bad body weight scale. Once they are finished they can look under the answer key flap to see the correct answers. The board also contains the state and national standards. This board was built for an elementary methods class at Lindsey Wilson College.
