Title of Bulletin Board: PE - It Does A Body Good

Materials: color paper, scissors, staples, list of exercise benefits(Included)

Description:

This bulletin board is designed to teach elementary age students about the many wonderful benefits associated with participation in regular physical activity. We have outlined 14 benefits of exercise listed below. Copy and post the ones you like over the board. We took the 14 benefits and printed each benefit in a large font, cut it out and posted it on the bulletin board highlighted with a yellow star next to it. Each week pick one of the 14 benefits and teach the students about it as well as why it is important to exercise every day.
Here is a list of 14 benefits of regular exercise to help get you started

1. Boosts Brainpower
2. Melts Away Stress
3. Gives You Energy
4. Helps Ward off Disease
5. Pumps up Your Heart
6. Builds and Maintains Healthy Muscles, Bones, and Joints
7. Boosts Performance

9. Reduces High Blood Pressure and the Risk of Developing Heart Disease
10. Reduces the Risk of Developing Diabetes
11. Reduces or Maintains Body Weight or Body Fat
12. Improves your Mood
13. Reduces High Cholesterol and the Risk of Developing High Blood Pressure
14. Helps you Get a Better Nights Sleep
