Title of Bulletin Board: Ring in the New Year!

Materials: 2 deck rings, battery operated lights, 5 big paper rings,

Description:

The Ring in the New Year billboard has two deck rings secured to the top corners. It has five big rings with pictures of snowman in each one performing skills from the deck ring unit. Outside the rings are labeled to describe the skills, including, toss, catch, spin, kick, slide, roll. In bottom corners are two hands holding a ring, labeled right and left.
The board was built to inform students/teachers/and parents the skill activities that will be practiced during the deck ring unit. The board was also built to coincide with the coming of the New Year 2011.
During the deck ring unit we practice manipulative skills. The students will toss, catch , roll, spin, and slide the rings. During second week of unit we add a beanbag to the skills mentioned.
