Description:

I constructed this bulletin board to encourage my students to think about a healthy lifestyle and important choices they can make. I made the board a variety of colors so it can stay up during the holiday season and beyond. I downloaded pictures of gifts from image searches on the internet. On the gift tags, I put a one or two word about the gift. Below each gift, I gave a more detailed description. The gifts on my board are as follows…

germ free = wash hands
toothbrush = brush and floss twice a day
healthy food= low in sugar, fat and salt
water = 6 to 8 glasses a day
sleep = 8 to 11 hours a night
activity = play 60 a day
seat belt = always wear a seat belt
no = just say no to drugs andsmoking
