Title of Bulletin Board: Road To A Healthy Heart

Description:

The bulletin board was designed to help promote healthy lifestyle choices. We displayed pictures of healthy food choices, a variety of sport/recreational activities, and healthy behaviors such as saying no to peer pressure, limiting stress, and healthy sleeping patterns etc.

The bulletin board displays cars traveling on a road traveling through all of the seasons starting with fall, winter, and spring. We attached pictures of the activities we would be doing in physical education during those months and also activities they could do with their family during those months to promote community resources. We attached pictures of fruits and vegetables that we encouraged the students to try that are in harvest during those months. Our mission was to inform the students that the road to a healthy heart starts now and they need to continue to steer down this path to strive for a healthy heart.
