Title of Bulletin Board: Sneakers! Don't leave home without them!

Suggested Grade Level: K-6

Materials: pre-cut letters, paper or fabric background, border - I used the barefoot pattern, two pair of actual sneakers

Description:

The phrase, "SNEAKERS Don't leave home without them!" was placed on the entire bulletin board. A border of barefeet was used. Two pair of real sneakers were hung up on the bulletin Board frame. This bulletin Board reminds students to wear or bring their sneakers to school. At my school, in addition to physical education class, sneakers are needed for recess. During our snowy winters students often wear boots and forget their sneakers. During warmer weather students often wear sandals etc. and forget their sneakers. This bulletin board provides a gentle reminder for remembering your sneakers.

Additional Information:

Pictures of students wearing sneakers could be placed near the bulletin board.
