Title of Bulletin Board: Healthy Bodies Under Construction

Materials: toy construction items, caution tape, black letters, paper and picture examples of healthy behaviors

Description:

Our school building was under construction for a few years and our building theme was "kids of character under construction". I used a play on those words to create "healthy bodies under construction". It also coincided with a health unit I do that teaches basic nutrition, healthy behaviors and simple fitness concepts.

I found the cutouts for the bulletin board at our local university's book and supply store. I found the caution tape at our family's lumberyard and the toys came from a local toy store. However, all of these items could be downloaded from clip art pictures on the internet.
