Title of Bulletin Board: Five Little Pumpkins

Suggested Grade Level: PRE-K

Materials: Brown and Yellow Bulletin Board Paper, Purple Letters , Microsoft clip art , Poem Five Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate

Description:

Fall themed board. It illustrates the Life Cycle of a pumpkin by using a flow Chart. ( Pumpkins grow in the field, you pick a pumpkin, you clean it out, you may make a Jack O Lantern, you could cook into a pumpkin pie.

After a group discussion we act out the poem in front of the board. Ending with a log roll away from the board. Five "little pumpkins" sit in front and each has a line to say and then they roll away so others can have their turn.
