My Use it or Lose It bulletin board was built to give students information regarding heart disease. On the bulletin board there is information regarding diet and exercise. The diet section has facts and ways that students can eat healthier. The exercise section describes how important physical activity is, how exercising is effective, and different ways to start a healthy exercise program. In addition, there are cut out ambulances that have heart disease statistics on them. Such as: how many people die of heart disease, cost, etc. The purpose of the bulletin board was to show students it is important to use your heart or you will lose it; as well as give students positive things they can do to change their dietary and physical fitness habits.
