Each year I like to get an idea of what types of physical activities students are interested in or want to learn more about. The idea of this board is to gain a better understanding of the types of activities students enjoy by having them create a "wish" on a cut out penny and put it by the wishing well bulletin board. This board serves several purposes. First, it is a way for returning students to discuss and recall favorite lessons and units from years past that they have enjoyed and second it allows students to come up with new activities or ideas to hopefully learn more about in the coming year. My goal then as the teacher is to consider what the students "wishes" are and attempt to incorporate them into lessons and units throughout the year while asking students to recall their wishes from the first bulletin board of the year!
