Description:

Each year our school selects a "Fifth Grade Fitness Team" that consists of both boys and girls to compete at the county level. They compete in the event that they did well in at the school level. Pictured here is our 5th grade Fitness Team from last Spring. They each have an event sheet that tells their event and what they did to earn a spot on the team. After the competition I put up paper ribbons to signify what took place at the competition. Everyone in school walks by this board each day on their way to lunch. It is my hope that it will motivate students to do well on their Wellness Assessment and perhaps earn them a place on the Fitness Team when they are in fifth grade.
