Materials: Superman Cut-out, Die-Cut Letters, Cotton Balls, Border, Lamination Machine

Description:

Many of my students call me "Mr. S." and I thought it would be appropriate to make a board depicting Superman with important messages the students can take home. The purpose of the board is to give the students different information regarding nutrition and physical activity in a visually attractive fashion. At the elementary level, using Superman to convey information can be very effective.
Superman is flying through the clouds and each big cloud has an important mission for him to accomplish. Also, the smaller clouds on the board have cotton balls glued on top to give the board a 3D effect.

Mission #1
Exercise at least 3-5 times per week

Mission #2
Eat five servings of fruits and vegetables

Mission #3
Do not eat much fat, cholesterol, and salt

Mission #4
Eat a lot of fiber, vitamins, calcium and iron

Mission #5
Keep calories around 1600 to 2000
