Title of Bulletin Board: Rise to the Challenge / The President's Chall

Category: Fitness Tests

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: The President's Challenge Materials, An american flag, cutouts of physical fitness components

Description:

This bulletin board was created to generate interest and gain attention for the upcoming physical fitness tests in our school. For each fitness test we take, there is discussion about which type of fitness activity we are participating in. For example, the pull-up test is a measure of what? A muscular strength test! Then the class discusses what muscular strength really is and includes examples of other muscular strength activities. This bulletin board has received much attention since the tests are underway!
