Title of Bulletin Board: Jump Rope For Heart

Category: Fundraisers

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: board, paper, scissors, glitter, data graphs, construction papers (colored)

Description:

The bulletin board displays our Jump Rope unit and information on the Jump Rope For Heart Fundraiser. The bulletin board is divided into three sections discussing different aspects of Jump Rope For Heart. On the left side is examples of different styles of jumping rope. It give pictures and details of how to jump and the type of jump it is. The middle part of the bulletin board talks about jump rope for heart and the American heart association. There are certificates at the bottom of the board and they are for the ones who jumped at jump rope for heart and everyone who participated received a certificate. On the right side there signs of every class in the school. That side has the data of the number of students participated in each grade level, money in each grade level and the average of money from each student. There are no student names and no child or classroom singled out. It's purpose was to inform the students on their accomplishments as a grade level and school. It also informs the kids of ways to jump rope and why Jump Rope for Heart is beneficial.
